Hurmi Kaki FUYU is one of Japan's large-fruited varieties, popular because the fruit can be eaten directly from the tree when ripe. In our country, it can be grown mainly in areas where vines thrive.
The Hurmi Kaki FUYU tree grows healthily and vigorously, forms a well-branched crown, and is also decorative in the garden, with green glossy leaves. At maturity it is 4-5m tall.
The tree flowers in June. After pollination it produces fruit without seeds , without pollination the fruit has no seeds.
The fruits are large , about 300g dark orange in colour with shiny skin and light orange flesh. They ripen in late October to November.
Hurmi Kaki is not susceptible to pests and fungal diseases. It has practically no pests in our area.
The plant has good frost resistance , down to -20.
We sell the trees in organic quality.
