- "Jonkheer van Tets" is an early variety of red currant originating from the Netherlands. It is popular among gardeners and fruit growers for its high yield and excellent fruit quality.
- The growth of "Jonkheer van Tets" is moderately strong, reaching a height of 120-140cm on an 80cm rootstock. It is a self-pollinating variety, which means it does not require a pollinator for fruit set.
- The berries are formed in long, sparse clusters and have a shiny red color. They have a delicious tart and aromatic taste. The fruits ripen from the end of June and are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for freezing, preserving, and juice production.
- "Jonkheer van Tets" prefers a sunny location with well-drained and well-fertilized soil. It is resistant to fungal diseases and pests and can withstand lower temperatures. It is also suitable for commercial cultivation.
