- The SATURN peach is a variety native to America. SATURN is a flat peach, one of the most prolific peach varieties available on the market, designed for both amateur and commercial use.
- SATURN peach is medium in stature, reaching a height of approximately 4 metres.
- SATURN peach blooms in spring, usually between March and April, depending on the particular climatic conditions. It is a self-pollinating variety.
- SATURN peach fruits average 130g, some up to 200g. The shape is flattened. The yellow, thin skin is covered with a red, usually fuzzy blush. The juicy, firm flesh can range from creamy to intensely yellow. It separates well from the stone. The taste is excellent, honey-sweet.
- The peaches ripen in early August.
- They are most often eaten raw, but can also be made into delicious preserves: jams, compotes, dried fruit and others.
- When growing SATURN peaches, it is important to ensure sufficient sunlight and adequate tree care, including pruning and fertilisation. It is also important to monitor and protect peach trees from pests and diseases that can affect the crop. This variety is sufficiently resistant to frost and peach curl.
- The SATURN peach is a popular choice not only for peach growers but also for consumers looking for sweet, juicy and aromatic fruit.
