  • The Bluefree plum is a hybrid variety bred in the USA. It was created by crossing the President and Stanley varieties.
  • The Bluefree plum tree is of medium size. The crown is well-branched and forms a compact shape. The tree is robust and resistant to adverse weather conditions.
  • Bluefree plum blooms in April. It has beautiful white flowers that form clusters at the ends of branches. The flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinators. The plum is cross-pollinating, and suitable pollinators are other plums that bloom at the same time.
  • The fruits of the Bluefree plum are medium to large, weighing approximately 80g. They have a round, oval shape with smooth and glossy skin. The color of the fruits ranges from blue-purple to dark blue with a fine waxy coating. The flesh is yellow-green, sweet, and juicy, with excellent flavor. The flesh easily separates from the pit. The fruits ripen in late August to September.
