- The Goji berry (Lycium barbarum) BIG LIFEBERRY belongs to the reliable varieties. Its origin can be traced back to China.
- It grows moderately and can reach up to 2 meters in height. Support is advisable when growing. It blooms in mid-July with small purple flowers. It is a self-pollinating variety.
- The fruits are about 1-2 cm in size, elongated, orange in color, and have a shiny skin. It produces a rich harvest of fruits that are suitable for drying. The fruits ripen at the end of August. After drying, they maintain the same taste as fresh berries.
- Fruits can be expected already in the first year after planting.
- This Goji variety is not prone to diseases but sensitive to frost.
- It prefers well-draining soil and a sunny location. Under our conditions, Goji thrives very well.
- Reliably bearing large-fruited Goji variety brings a harvest already in the first year of cultivation.
