'Pärnu tuviõun' (translated as "Pärnu Pigeon Apple") is an old Estonian landrace variety that was described as early as the 18th century. It is characterized by high yields and an early onset of production. Despite its moderate susceptibility to diseases, it has significant breeding importance.
