A Siberian variety with extremely large fruits.
'Yadrenaya' (Ядрёная) is a Siberian blackcurrant variety that is world-renowned for its extremely large fruits, which are among the largest of all. Some berries can reach a weight of up to 7.8 grams. In addition to its record size, it is characterized by an early entry into bearing, high yield, and resistance to frost and the currant gall mite. The flavour is distinctly tart and refreshing, making it particularly suitable for processing.
