Classic American variety with extreme frost resistance for the harshest conditions.
'Agawam' is a legendary American blackberry variety from the 19th century, which retains its popularity to this day thanks to its incredible resilience. It is an ideal choice for growing in extremely cold regions (e.g., Siberia), where other varieties fail. It stands out for its high and stable yield and classic sweet-sour taste.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Exceptional frost resistance (canes down to -40 °C, buds down to -30 °C).
- High and stable yield (up to 15 kg under optimal conditions).
- Good resistance to drought, diseases, and pests.
- Low maintenance (suitable for beginners).
- Classic, juicy, and aromatic taste.
