Apricot (Prunus armeniaca) 'Tsunami'
Extremely early French variety with attractive fruits and high yield.
'Tsunami' is a popular, extremely early apricot variety originating from France. It is valued for its very early ripening (already in mid-June), attractive fruits with a red blush, and high yield. Despite early ripening, it blooms later, helping it avoid spring frosts, and is suitable even for higher altitudes.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Extremely early ripening (June, sometimes late May).
- Late flowering (protection against frosts).
- Large attractive fruits (up to 90 g) with a red blush.
- Excellent sweet and aromatic taste (12 – 13 °Brix).
- High and regular yield.
