'Congres' is a high-quality Romanian peach variety bred at the SCDP Băneasa station by crossing 'Flacăra' and 'Splendid'. It is valued primarily for its exceptional, very sweet and aromatic taste, large attractive fruits, and high yield.

• Flesh: White-yellowish, fine, melting, and very juicy, with red veins around the stone.
• Taste: Exceptional, very sweet, very aromatic, with medium acidity.
• Usage: Universal – fresh consumption, processing (compotes, nectars, jams).
