Late Romanian variety with record-breaking large fruits and high resistance.

'Record' is an exceptional Romanian plum variety bred at the SCDP Voinești station. It earned its name rightfully – it is characterized by massive fruits that can weigh up to 100 g. It is a descendant of the ‘Renclod Violet’ variety. It is valued for the high commercial value of its fruits and comprehensive resistance to frost and diseases.

Tree

• Vigor: Medium to vigorous.
• Crown: Inverted cone shape, strong scaffold branches.

Fruit

• Size and Weight: Very large, weighing 75 – 100 g.
• Shape and Color: Round, slightly elongated. The skin is dark purple to dark blue, covered with a thick layer of bluish bloom.
• Flesh: Yellow-green, crunchy, with a subtle aroma.
• Taste: Harmonious, sweet-sour, very good.
• Stone: Small and separates easily from the flesh (Freestone).
