'Konfetnoje' is an exceptionally popular Russian summer variety whose name translates to "candy-like." It fully earns this name thanks to its excellent, dessert-quality, and very sweet taste with almost no acidity, which truly resembles candy. In addition to its unique flavor, it also stands out for its high frost resistance and early entry into bearing. Due to its sensitivity to bruising and short storage life, it is a classic home garden variety whose fruits you won't find in stores.

• Flesh: Cream-colored, fine-grained, very juicy, and tender.

Resistance and Requirements

• Frost resistance: The variety is highly frost-resistant and also tolerates temperature fluctuations well.
• Diseases: It has good overall immunity but is susceptible to scab. In at-risk areas, a preventative spray is required.
