A Belarusian variety for colder regions with very high yield.

'Severnaya' (Северная) is a Belarusian sweet cherry variety that, as its name ("Northern") suggests, was specially bred for cultivation in colder climatic conditions. Its greatest assets are high frost resistance and exceptionally high yield. The fruits are medium-sized, have an attractive yellow-pink colour, and a pleasant sweet-tart flavour.
