Attractive autumn variety with large fruits and buttery flesh.
'Carmen' is a quality pear variety gaining popularity due to its large and visually appealing fruits with a red blush. It is characterized by early bearing onset, regular yield, and excellent taste. It has very good affinity with quince rootstock.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Large to very large fruits (approx. 190 g).
- Buttery, fine, and very juicy flesh.
- Sweet, aromatic, and intensely fragrant taste.
- Early bearing onset (2nd – 3rd year).
