'Remar' is a modern autumn apple variety bred at the SCDP Voinești station. It is valued for its large, juicy fruits and resistance to Scab. A unique feature of this variety is the ability to self-regulate fruit set, which simplifies cultivation and ensures regular yields.

Variety Characteristics

Tree

• Vigor: Medium to strong.
• Bearing: Bears fruit on short spurs as well as longer shoots.

Fruit

• Size and Weight: Large, reaching up to 200 g.
• Shape and Color: Truncated conical with a broad base. Brick-red color on the sunny side, turning yellow-orange near the calyx.

• Resistance: The variety is resistant to Scab and partially resistant to Powdery Mildew.
