Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) 'Lazarevskaya' (Лазаревская)

Early Russian variety with good yield and interesting shoot coloration.

'Lazarevskaya' is an older, proven Russian raspberry variety bred by Professor Kichina at VSTISP. Although it has certain weaknesses in disease resistance and transportability, growers appreciate it for its early ripening, reliable yield, and ability to overwinter well even in areas with temperature fluctuations.

Main advantages of the variety:

  • Early ripening.
  • Good and stable yield (approx. 2.2 kg per bush).
  • Good resistance to winter thaws and bark rot.
  • Pleasant taste of fruits.
  • Decorative red coloration of shoots in autumn.
