Romanian self-fertile variety with high-quality fruits and late flowering.
'Crișana' is a traditional Romanian sour cherry variety created by selection at the Pitești - Mărăcineni institute. It is sought after mainly for its self-fertility and ability to avoid spring frosts thanks to later flowering. The fruits are of high quality, suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
