The white PIWI table grape variety ARKADIA is of Ukrainian origin. The advantages of this vine are large clusters with large berries and few grains.
The interspecific hybrid vine ARKADIA grows vigorously, forms long healthy shoots. Therefore, support and appropriate pruning are needed.
It forms large conical clusters up to 1 kg. The berries are large, oblong, oval, averaging 4,5g. With a small number of grains. The colour of the berries is golden yellow The taste is sweet, tasty, refreshing. The flesh is fleshy, juicy. It ripens at the beginning of August.
It has a high yield. It is advisable to thin the bunches.
The vines require deep, permeable, nutrient-rich soils and regular fertilisation.
The site for the vines should be sheltered, sunny.
Vines require proper pruning in spring and breaking of shoots during the year.
It has a high resistance to frost.
