Early Russian variety "Constellation" with large fruits and high Vitamin C content.
'Sozvezdie' is an early Russian black currant variety bred at the I. V. Michurin All-Russian Research Institute. It is popular for its high productivity, early bearing onset, and very good taste of large fruits. It also stands out for its exceptionally high content of Vitamin C and P-active substances.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Large and tasty fruits (1.2 – 1.5 g).
- High self-fertility and productivity.
- Very high Vitamin C content (198 mg/100g).
- Resistance to powdery mildew and spider mites.
