Peach (Prunus persica) 'LU-V-140'
Proven Latvian variety with high yield and large fruits.
'LU-V-140' is a promising Latvian peach variety bred at the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia by Viktors Vārna. Although not yet officially registered, it is a long-tested and proven variety that has demonstrated good frost resistance and high yields in Latvian conditions.
Main advantages of the variety:
- High yield.
- Large, juicy fruits with an attractive pink blush.
- Relatively good frost resistance.
- Proven in cooler conditions (Latvia).
- Sweet-sour refreshing taste.
