A Lithuanian variety with excellent flavour and disease resistance.
'Alvita' is a Lithuanian early autumn pear variety, created by crossing the varieties ‘Conference’ and ‘Naryadnaya Yefimova’. It is valued for its fruits with an excellent, sweet, and aromatic flavour and for its resistance to scab and fruit rot.
