'Cristal' (syn. 'Cristalina') is a modern Romanian pear variety bred at the SCDP Voinești station. It is popular for its weaker growth, making it suitable for smaller gardens, and for the very good taste of its fruits. Although its storage life is shorter, it compensates with the quality of the flesh and good resistance.
