Red Currant (Ribes rubrum) 'Asya' (Ася)
Early Russian variety with dark red berries and high resistance.
'Asya' is a Russian red currant variety bred at the All-Russian Research Institute (VNIISPK). It is characterized by high and stable yields, dark red berries, and very good resistance to frost and fungal diseases. The fruits have a high content of Vitamin C and P-active substances.
Main advantages of the variety:
- Complex resistance to fungal diseases (powdery mildew, leaf spots).
- High frost resistance.
- High and stable yield (up to 3.8 kg per bush).
