- The standard delivery time is 2-3 working days. - We always ship parcels on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. - By arrangement, we can also ship plants on Thursdays or Fridays (we do not normally ship on these days in case there is a problem so that the parcels are not left in the depot unnecessarily over the weekend).

Climax is a key variety of Rabbiteye blueberry, jointly introduced to the market by the University of Georgia and the USDA in 1974. It was created by crossing the Callaway and W8 varieties. Its main breeding goal was to create a very early variety with concentrated ripening, suitable for mechanized harvesting.
Fruits (Quality and Characteristics): The fruits are medium to large, dark blue in color with good wax coating. They have good firmness and a pleasantly sweet taste. The scar after the stem is average. The biggest advantage is very early and concentrated ripening - most of the fruit on the bush ripens in a short time window, which is ideal for a single harvest.
Plant (Cultivation characteristics): The bush grows vigorously and has a rather spreading habit. It is one of the earliest ripening Rabbiteye varieties. Cold requirements are relatively low, estimated at 450 to 500 hours below 7 °C. The variety is cross-pollinated and requires a pollinator. Without the presence of another concurrently flowering Rabbiteye variety (e.g., Premier or Austin), the yield is very low or nonexistent. It is moderately susceptible to stem blight.
Disadvantages: The main advantage is very early and concentrated ripening, which allows for efficient harvesting and opens the season.
