Pear (Pyrus communis) 'Capul Piscului Verde'

Old Romanian variety with green skin and extreme storage life.

'Capul Piscului Verde' (translated as "Green Capul Piscului") is a rare autochthonous Romanian variety from the Argeș region. It is considered a local clone of the historical Belgian variety 'Josephine de Malines'. It is unique because its fruits are green at harvest and can be stored until June of the following year. It stands out for high resistance and excellent taste after storage.
