SABINA is an excellent early-ripening cherry originating from Poland. Its advantage lies in the excellent quality of its fruits. It can be cultivated even in colder, higher-altitude regions.
The cherry is grafted onto the Mahalebka rootstock, ensuring a weak tree growth. It grows upright and healthy, forming a compact crown.
SABINA cherry is a self-pollinating variety. It is considered an early-maturing cherry, usually blooming in April or May, depending on specific climatic conditions and geographic location.
The fruits of SABINA cherry have a dark red color and reach a medium size of about 5g. They are juicy, slightly tart, and have an excellent taste. SABINA cherries are often consumed fresh but can also be used for making jams, cakes, and various liqueurs. The fruits ripen in June.
SABINA cherry provides us with a regular and abundant harvest every year. The fruits do not crack even during excessive rainfall.
It prefers a sunny location. It enters into fruiting very early, and the yields are high and consistent. This variety is suitable for commercial orchards as well as home gardeners, especially for fresh consumption.
It is sufficiently resistant to diseases and pests, making it suitable for organic cultivation without the use of sprays.
